We were awarded the Fotokem grant for most promising graduate thesis film. THE ORCHARD takes place in 1920s Spain and is loosely based on the life of the Spanish poet Lorca. It's a beautiful and poignant story about a man who is about to marry a woman but finds his heart with another man. Will he go through the marriage? There are two leads, eight supporting characters, and lots of extras for a climactic wedding scene. Beautiful period costume and sets. To be directed by Kevin Thompson and produced by Soo Hugh, Rain Breaw, and Sho Thyme. The film shoots from July 12-22. Web site: http://homepage.mac.com/rainbreaw/orchard |
