Synopsis: This film travels along the thin line dividing Fantasy and Reality. Mixing dreams and realities life and fiction black & white and color images.
Sunil sells Balloons, while his mother makes them. His family migrated from Sholapur ? an agrarian district of Maharastra State, India. Sholapur has been ravaged by drought and famine for the past four years causing a huge inflow of villagers to the nearby cities. Sunil?s family is living on the streets of a big metropolis like Pune. The Urban space really crushes the childhood of the little boy.
This is a dream to regain lost childhood, memories of a long lost beauty of the village, juxtaposed with the harsh realities of city and the plea of a mother for a better life. The train interconnects the rural and urban, dreams and reality, migration and hopes.
